Also known as Black Chokeberry. This is a shrub native to North America renowned for its extremely high antioxidant content. Higher in all that good stuff than blueberries and elderberries.
We grew it to make jam, but no matter how we paired it, the result was an astringent undertone that (in our opinion), just didn't make for a tasty jam.
Left with a robust crop, we have dried the berries and are offering them dried, with no preservatives.
